Mae Vidanez (they/them) is a multimedia artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, mostly focusing on audio production and sound engineering for theatre. They have a Film, Television, and Electronic Media degree from Pierce College and a Broadcasting and Electronic Communication Arts degree from San Francisco State University, with experience in studio production, media management, audio production, sound engineering, and stage management. In 2022 they began working with Berkeley Playhouse’s Professional Mainstage productions as Audio Engineer and have been behind the BPH board since. They have also been utilizing both their degree and decades of self-taught computer program literacy freelancing on editing longform media for Youtube videos and podcasts.
When they aren’t behind the QL5 they can almost always be found with their Kindle in their tote bag and a completely untouched TBR list, pouring latte art bunnies on skateboards, or throwing clay doodads to fill up their trinket shelves.
Please reach out via email if you are interested in working together! Available for audio production and video editing as well as mixed media commissions.
